Designer
Ico and Luisa Parisi were the creators of the style of italian furniture during the 1950s. For the first time since the war, Ico Parisi organised a small but significant furniture exhibition in Como in 1945. In 1947 his wife Luisa founded La Ruotastudio that would become the site of their architecture and furniture studio. The two artists created modern designs together which were representative of the period and also designed for important companies such as Cassina, Altamira, Singer and Son (New York), MIM and Stildomus.
